Consumers asked us: "Why are the other options painfully expensive?" The price of the electric "beach carts" that attempt to imitate the Beach Mule can reach up to $4,000.00. The ONLY reason for this high price is simple: These options are resold numerous times before being resold to you. All the way from China, the middlemen in the US who falsely claim to be the manufacturer of the product, purchase the units complete, but missing a logo. A long list of buyers before the product reaches you, only outsourcing and throwing together already made parts from electric lawnmowers and heavy superstore powerchairs, which aren't designed for the beach, and reselling them as a fake solution that is heavy, corrosive, fabricated and welded overseas poorly, underpowered and overpriced. Once the imitation brand adds their logos to the "beach cart" (aka superstore power chair in disguise) they then have to resell what has already been resold from China. To make it worse, most of these resellers don’t even understand as they purchase from yet another middleman which is a manufacturing facility who sources the unit from China and then sells it to the middleman as a solution of their own, ready to sell after the middleman adds their logo. Way too many sales and not enough engineering. This forces these resellers to mark up the prices extremely high in order to make any profit off of the sale, and leaves you with a product that doesn't solve the problem at hand: Motorized Affordable Lightweight Transportable Hauls heavy weight All Wheel Drive option Non-Corrosive Water resistant They also don’t offer an easy way to replace their batteries unlike our powerful and lightweight open-source (KoBalt compatible) lithium batteries that don't tie you to yet another greedy reseller or subscription and can be bought on Amazon or Lowes. We do include batteries (2 - 6aH - 24V) with your purchase and a charger however. The result when you buy an imitation? You end up with an over-priced under-engineered solution that wasn’t intended for the beach and doesn’t solve the key issues. The hard truth: more expensive doesn't always mean better. Price, Delivery and Performance does.
The Beach Mule is the most competitive price on the market. The Beach Mule was created with the intention of finally solving the problem, which was simple: Motorized Beach Hauler. Part of the issue of why consumers don't see these on the beach has been a key item, the price. From our creation, we have been able to maintain half the price of our nearest competition. How? Again, very simple. When compared to the knock-off options on the market (essentially electric lawn mowers with beach wheels attached, marked even higher and resold as such): The reason for the Beach Mule's affordable market price is due to being designed and manufactured completely in house, in North Carolina, for one purpose and one purpose only. In comparison, the other options on the market take completed parts from other vehicles with other intended applications that have already been made, and attempt to repurpose them into a beach hauling solution. This leaves the companies that resell the electric beach wagons at the mercy of retail prices on key price driving components like drivetrains, axles, controller systems, throttle systems, and electrical systems. Furthermore, since none of these resellers make their own systems like Beach Mule, they are not only unable to source at a smaller component level, but also are tied to other manufacturers systems that cannot adapt to chance and absolutely are not designed for a sandy and salty environment. Mark up after mark up you end up with a rusty, heavy, & expensive compilation of other engineer's ideas sold to you by a company who doesn't even know how their own product is made. This is because they source the entire product from China, and slap their logo on the side to mark up to you. Being the main beach hauling solution and being attainable by the average consumer was the concept Beach Mule was founded on. The first month of our launch, we were sold out in 2 days. Indicating that the market was starving for a real solution. To this day, we are proud to say we are still the lowest priced and most useful Beach Hauler on the market today, and the only one made in the USA. Paired with our 1-year warranty (longest in the market) and USA supported replacement systems made in our warehouse and not someone else's, the customer achieves an offer that hasn't been able to be competed with since our first launch. Given our price and other details you will find below that we believe make us the only genuine option available to the public, we only produce a limited amount of Beach Mules per year. Due to this, the Beach Mule has either been sold out nearly every month since its launch or in such demand that we needed waiting lists to fill hundreds of orders a month. Being the Beach Mule product line is run by a lean manufacturing company, We do not keep product laying around on the floor. Just recently we have expanded by adding an entirely additional warehouse strictly for the Beach Mule product line alone. What does this mean for our new customers? This now allows us to create even more units and with aimed 2-3 day delivery time the moment your credit card processes, anywhere in the mainland US. This has all been possible by our amazing customers who bought early and were patient enough to watch a good thing grow. We are proud to say we have ZERO business loans, and are 100 percent customer order funded to date and privately owned. All this and we still offer direct from the manufacturer orders in the mainland US. No fancy gimmicks, no box truck with the owner's face on it, just 100% focus and attention to product perfection and delivery fulfillment. The imitators beach cart was designed and made in China using the resources China had available. Meaning, use in a beach environment was not on their mind. The control system they use was meant for E-bikes and is not waterproof. A good amount of the frame on their cart is made of stainless steel. This makes the cart extremely heavy (120 LBS) and hard to transport. Because their carts are made in China this means they offer lower quality welds on the frame of the cart. This can be extremely dangerous when in use, if the welds were to give out and break.

At only 35LBS, Beach Mule electric beach cart is the lightest on the market. This makes our beach cart extremely easy to transport. Fo comparison, we made the Beach Mule fit into most SUV's like a jeep grand Cherokee or a Nissan Rogue and still fit plenty of beach supplies. Got a tighter fit? The Beach Mule completely disassembles with 0 tools needed after initial assembly and you can store the basket apart from the wheels and handle to fit in the trunk of a 2015 Mazda 6 grand touring sedan (ask us how we know). Oh yeah, we're also engineering an add on for a hitch receiver that will be less expensive than the batteries from the competition. This will turn Beach Mules into luggage carriers as well. We're not worried about the competition trying to copy this, we're confident they won't be able to figure being they have no engineering capability. No drilling holes or tools for assembly will be required. Even without this, being 35lbs allows for easier movement not just in transport, but also moving around while storing, going down a flight of stairs and everything in between. The Beach Mules weight was originally engineered around a 93 year old veteran, who loved bass fishing, to lift.
The Beach Mule is the ONLY electric beach cart in the world to offer an AWD (Four Wheel Drive) option. The beauty of the offering? If you don't need it, you can save even more by purchasing the main Beach Mule platform now, and adding the AWD front axle later if you need it without buying a whole new unit. By adding All Wheel Drive, Beach Mule is able to offer a truley unmatched and uncomparable sand hauling experince. More pulling power under a heavy load, better control for the operator, more traction ability to climb objects and most importantly no amount of soft deep sand stands a chance. Ever wonder why when you drive there are state owned signs that say: "FOUR WHEEL DRIVE REQUIRED - DRIVE AT OWN RISK"? Yeah, it's there for a reason. Not all sand types need four wheel (all Wheel) drive, but when you need it, trust us, you will know. Our recommendation? If you're unsure if you need it or not, start with the base model only. It does great in most all sand types. If you find out you need to carry heavier loads than expected and your path/dunes to the beach are extremely challenging, get the AWD add on and end that problem immediately. Just don't get caught overspending on a option that doesn't even have the capability of adding this. In some cases, it is a MUST. Our patented system is the only one on the market that can achieve all wheel drive on a beach cart and has all others scratching their heads. Again, due to the fact we are a manufacturing company with real engineering support and development on this product, and the other options are reselling combined components made by other manufacturers that are not designed for the beach and they do not posses the capability to design and manufacture what they are selling you. Better to have All Wheel Drive, - or at least the option to add it - and not need it, than the other way around. The greatest benefit of adding All Wheel Drive? Ease of mind in 100+ degree weather.

CAN'T LIFT INTO BACK OF VEHICLE
The imitators beach cart is extremely heavy, weighing over 120 LBS. This can be extremely difficult to transport and use on the beach. They claim it helps you on sand, but they must be driving on a playground. This machine is already overloaded on capacity weighing this much before anything like supplies is added, let alone trying to lift this into a everyday usable SUV. Forget it. If you are unaware of just how heavy this is, have you ever seen a powerchair wheelchair in a superstore like Walmart? Imagine trying to lift this into your Jeep Grand Cherokee in 100 degree weather. Right. The drive axles comes direct from those powerchairs and so do the batteries and some other components. For obvious reasons, this is a horrible solution for a beach cart. Especially one you need to take out a loan for.
Two Wheel Drive Only
The deepest sand requires all- wheel-drive. End of story. There is no other electric beach cart in the world that offers 4WD capability. For those not as familiar with seeing deep soft sandy environments like are common here in North Carolina, there are several areas that you need all wheel drive or it will quiet literally bury your machine and let the rear wheels spin. Especially with heavier weight loads. If you are unsure if you need to add it, that's okay. With Beach Mule you can add it later, but not with the competition, as they do not understand how to engineer this solutions and we are the only ones with it on the market, in the world. Yes, it is patented. Some call it overkill, we would too if we didn't know how to make it. When you need it, you'll know.

Not only do they do not include all the tools needed in order to build one of their carts, getting it to you is only possible via a forklift and a humongus freight delivery service, which again reinforces several key failed deisng and product proof concepts. Powerful, swappable, open-source and last MILES. The Beach Mule uses 24V power tool batteries that are compatible with Kobalt batteries from any Lowes Home Improvement store. It comes from the factory with TWO Powerful 6.5 aH 24V Batteries with charger and our system is engineered to drive on only one. Adding the second increases its range. We real world tested the Beach Mule with these batteries with over 200lbs in the basket and got around 10 Miles of range. This test and all tests take place in the real world on real soft sand at Fort Fisher, NC the same with all tests each time we come out with a development. Fort Fisher is known for some of the softest and harshest sand environments on the beach in the USA and was were the Beach Mule has been born from. These batteries are very light (1 LB). This ensures the weight of the cart stays light and you can even fit them in your pocket. Amazon readily has the compatible versions for arund $50 for a paid with next day delivery available. We don't lock our users in to a battery that is proprietary to us. Why? Can you imagine your battery giving out, you can't easily swap a new one in, and even if you could you would need to contact the manufacturer to get a new one to you while your on vacation? Now imagine the same scenario, but you can run to the local Lowes or hardware store and make it back before the ice even starts to melt in your cooler on your so carefully chosen beach spot. Extreme scenrio? Trust us, we've seen worse. That's why we engineer for the most extreme situations, because nothing amplifys frustration on a problem then when it happens on vacation or in your relaxation time. With the Beach Mule, when in doubt, just swap it out.

HEAVY LOCKED-IN BATTERIES
Designed for Automobiles, your unit will be just as heavy.. Bring a trailer. Not only are these batteries heavy, but they are linked to the reseller. Why is this important? When you want to purchase another or replace it as batteries SHOULD be the only maintenance item, you will be unable to source a battery for less than $300 and usually from the manufacturer. It will still be 70lbs though, more than double the Beach Mule's weight alone. The battery in the picture shown is what most use, not suitable for a beach cart of any kind. Some, use proprietary lithium batteries that tie you to them as well, where as with the Beach Mule, you are able to easily buy replacements from Amazon or hardware stores locally like Lowes Home Improvement for example. There is no reason you should be tied to a subscription or proprietary replacement item like a battery with an electric beach cart. The USA could use a lot more open-source, and a lot less subscriptions (or resellers).
Conclusion: Don't pay double the price for off-brand overseas quality.
